We are completing Mathematical Reasoning™ Beginning 1. My son recently turned 4, and this is by far the best math program that I have found for preschoolers. We go over a few pages every night before we do our bedtime reading. I plan to order the next book in a few weeks.

What you wont see on the website is the quality of the pages. Each page is thick, tough paper -- able to withstand the constant erasing of a perfectionist eight-year-old boy.

Mathematical Reasoning™ not only allows skills to build on one another but once a skill is learned, it is continually practiced. On page 295, adding coins is still practiced (though it was introduced on page 6). But instead of fifteen boring pages based strictly on coins, the skill is randomly spread over three-hundred and twelve pages, with increasing difficulty.

The addition facts are presented on one page and on the opposite page, the student will answer a riddle by completing a dot-to-dot using the sums. Instead of just doing facts for seemingly no reason, he has the reward of finding the answer to a riddle.
